"And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, "Are You for us or for our adversaries?" So He said, "No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have come now." And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshipped, and said to Him, "What does the my Lord say to His servant?" Joshua 5:13-14
May the Lord thunder at the head of His army; His forces beyond number, and mighty are they who obey Your Son’s command. Our God, the Mighty One, yet gracious and compassionate, abounding in Love. Deliver us from our enemies, lift us from those who rise against us. You have delivered me from the violent man, and I thank you, Lord Jesus.
Our hearts are torn to pieces. You bind our wounds and heal our broken hearts. but our hope remains in You, Lord Jesus our strength and our shield, give us the courage to do what is right in Your sight. We look to You to provide our every need.
