At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them. Heavenly Father, Your word encourages me when I seek You first because You have already gone before us. You are Sovereign; everything is in Your control, even when I can’t see what’s ahead. Thank You, Father, for giving me strength and courage as I walk through this day. Holy Spirit, I invite You to empower me to do Your will, may Your Peace that surpasses all understanding rule in our hearts and minds. Keep us hidden with Christ in You, be glorified in word and deed, for it is in Jesus’ Name, amen.
