And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?'” But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.”
Luke 8:45-46 NKJV

Jesus did not heal everyone; He was swamped by people seeking healing, but a specific woman bled for twelve years and couldn’t get to Him and ask for healing, so she reached down and touched Him. Power went from Him. The woman sought after God; she pursued God; she reached out for God and said if I could only feel a thread of His clothes. Now how many of us have been running for the Things of God instead of God Himself? I confess I have, and the Lord says, confess your sins to one another and be cleansed of all unrighteousness. I’m not saying post it on social media, find the trusted friend in Christ and confess, and pray for one another; we are all sinners, saved by grace through faith in Christ, and these are not of our own doing but gifts from God.
Dear Lord, I confess I’ve been chasing the blessings and putting people and things before You instead of pursuing You, seeking You, and through the power of Your Holy Spirit, and by faith, touching the heart of God through humility, may the Blood of Jesus Christ, cleanse me of all unrighteousness. You are the source of all things good because You are a good Father to all who seek and trust in You. Everything I need is in Your Son, Jesus Christ, amen
