When I praise You, my Lord, my enemies’ ears hurt; they try to silence the songs of my heart because they know who I am, a child of the highest God! I could sing of Your love forever because of Your shed blood; we are covered with the Blood of the Lamb, Your Son, who made Atonement for the world’s sins. I was dead in my sins, but when Christ died and rose again, I, too, live in Him; my debts are paid in full measure! Holy Spirit, may Your song increase in my heart with the morning sun and keep me hidden in Christ Jesus. May my life be an instrument of Your peace and love to those around me, like a calming balm, healing anxious souls. When I say, “The Lord is my Refuge,” Your angels surround me like a fortress, and my enemies flee in terror! Blessed be the Name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, the Commander and Chief of the LORD’S ARMY!
