Today

Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you. Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer. But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. And we are confident in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we commanded you. May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.

During these times of uncertainty, I prayed that the Lord would save the souls of my children and their offspring; only God knows the condition of their hearts. I said, “Lord, until I hear them say, “Jesus is Lord,” I will continue to ask as the old woman in the Bible who approached the king for justice.” The king became weary of her constant presence and request; however, God never becomes tired of our prayers because we are praying according to His will that no one perish. We seek the Lord for His mercy and the gift of faith for our loved ones because we know that God does not desire anyone dead in sin to suffer the wrath that is coming against the enemy of God, as we all were enemies of God before we heard the message. We, too, have eternal life in His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who took upon Himself the world’s sins. We are saved by grace, which means unmerited favor. We did not receive His gift by our religious deeds or works; may our faith in Jesus Christ be steadfast in patient endurance by the power of the Holy Spirit. Also, Paul’s prayer for us is to continue to pray for the saints worldwide, especially those persecuted, for the sake of the Gospel and deliverance from wicked and evil people who are instruments of the evil one; he is the enemy of our souls. First, may the Lord rise and defend Jerusalem, the apple of His eye; they are the olive tree, and we are grafted in them through Jesus Christ. God is our Mighty Warrior, and He will protect Israel; that is His promise, and victory is theirs because the battle is God’s, and the Glory is His, in the Name of Jesus, amen and amen.
