Lord, as I pondered on this day, my heart is filled with gratitude, not because of my accomplishments, but because of what You are accomplishing in my heart; I understand now what it means to have a heart after Yours. Like Saul, I was seeking Your blessings instead of Your heart. As David prayed, I asked for a pure heart and to renew a right spirit within me; Your Holy Spirit is my heart’s desire. Thank You, Jesus, for washing me with Your Blood and giving me life in You, amen!
