John 1:1-5 NKJV

[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made. [4] In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

LORD, GOD ALMIGHTY, I worship You and praise Your Word. You are the Living God, and Your Word is faithful since the beginning of time. You are the Word that was with God, and is God Almighty. You spoke all things into existence, and everything was made through You. May praise and glory to You be in our hearts and and may our lips praise You in unity; without You, nothing is life because You are life; may Your wisdom be our guide, and Your peace rule and reign in our hearts and minds. Send Your warring angels to surround us and protect our loves from every force of evil that sets itself against us. Send Your Word, O LORD, that Death has no dominion over us, even in the passage in our day’s Journey, called Today, and from this life to enteral life, Your everlasting light shines through us and around us, blinding our enemies, and drawing captives out of the darkness into Your marvelous light at the Cross of Christ Your Son, transforming us into Your likeness, Jesus, by Your Spirit, O God, to God alone be the glory and praise, amen!
