John 1:1-5 NKJV

[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made. [4] In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

LORD, GOD ALMIGHTY, I worship You and praise Your Holy Name. You are the Living God, and Your Word is faithful since the beginning of time. You are the Word that was with God and is God Almighty. You spoke all things into existence, and everything was made through You.

Let our lips praise You, Jesus be in our hearts, and let us praise You in unity; in one mind and one heart. Jesus, You are life. Let wisdom be our guide, and Your peace rule and reign in our hearts and minds. Heavenly Father, be exalted above everything that rises against You. Keep us humble before You, Lord, and don’t give the enemy access to our minds, bodies, and spirits. Cover us with the Blood of Your Precious Son, Jesus Christ.

Please send Your warring angels to surround us and protect our loved ones from every force of evil that sets itself against us. Send Your Word, O LORD, that Death has no dominion over us, even in the passage in our day’s journey.

Let Your everlasting light shine through us and around us, blinding our enemies, and drawing captives out of the darkness into Your marvelous light.

Lead many to the Cross of Christ, transforming us into His likeness, by the power of Your Spirit, O God. To God alone be the glory and praise, amen!
