Heavenly Focused, Heavenly Destination
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in the Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself and has given Him authority to execute judgment also because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.”
John 5: 24-29
Father of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them, I bless Your Holy Name and rejoice in this day. This is the Day You have made; let our hearts be filled with joy and gladness as we do our work; bless the work of our hands and the fruit of our lips! Let gratitude flow like rivers out of our hearts. May we drink from Your Living waters, Your wellsprings of life, and let us be refreshed in every moment of this day called Today.
Father of Grace, let Your Peace flow freely from our hearts and bring to remembrance Your enduring faithfulness from our yesterdays. Make us instruments of Your Peace in our homes, workplaces, and every step we take; let the shadow of fear see You and flee. Forgive me for the many times I doubted Your love and grace, and in the same way You forgave me, I forgive those who have wronged me.
May Your Holy Spirit take control of my mind and lead me in every way, word, and deed for my good, the good of others, and the glory of God Almighty. Your Word is the lamp to my feet, guiding our steps in how we should go in decision making. Make a way, LORD, where we can’t find a way. Lead us away from the temptations of the flesh, the world, and the devil. Silence the mouths of deception and negativity; let Courage and Strength rise from the ashes, and declare, “Let God be magnified!
Lamb of God, I declare that no weapon forged against shall prosper because we are covered with Your Powerful Blood, that cleansed and Redeemed the world from the judgment that awaited us. God of our Salvation, draw my loved ones to Your Son. Let our eyes be heavenly-focused, and our ears hear the voice of wisdom, prudence, and discernment. Keep my heart, Holy Spirit, fill it with Your love and peace—Jesus, Author, and Perfector of my faith, embrace me and my ones, and keep us hidden beneath the shadow of Your wings. Protect us from all evil, and deliver us from the evil one, and wicked men and women who use Your word to deceive and manipulate to hold captive; break every chain. Thank You, Father, for hearing and answering my prayer for all the saints, our children, and their offspring, in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Only Begotten Son, who came into the world from Heaven. Praise the Lord!
