Prayer for Understanding and Security in Wisdom

Heavenly Father, LORD of all creation, hallow be thy name. Let Your kingdom come, and the desires of Your heart be done in us as it is in heaven by Your Spirit in us. 

Thank you, ABBA, for giving us another day, for this is the day that you have made. Let our hearts rejoice in it. Thank You for providing everything we need for our day’s journey, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally, according to the abundance of Your grace, mercy, steadfast love, and faithfulness. Let the joy of the LORD be our strength and the gift of Gratitude; open the ways of the LORD before us, casting out all negativity, discord, and discontentment; bless the work of our hands and the fruit of our lips; that we may succeed in everything we do to bring Your honor and glory for our good, and the good of those around us, praise and honor, and glory to the LORD, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Heavenly Counselor, please open our spiritual ears to hear the instruction of our Heavenly Father and give us the gift of Understanding Your sound doctrine. Almighty God, with the Blood of Jesus, I bind and cast out every religious spirit that misaligns Your Word for selfish gain and loosen the Spirit of Truth, Wisdom, and Understanding in us. 

Father of Lights, I give You my heart fully and submit to Your searching light to extinguish every sin that hides in the shadows of my heart. I relinquish complete control of my body, mind, and spirit to Your Holy Spirit. Deliver me and my loved ones from the sins that lead to death, and let Wisdom lead us on the path of righteousness, where our steps will not be hindered, and when we run, we will not stumble. Like a child holding on to her father’s hand, LORD, hold my hand. Let Instruction be my mother, for she is my life. Give us discernment to know the ways of the evil and courage to flee from his wicked ways. Assign Your Army of Angels to watch our steps and keep us and our loved ones from waywardness. No spiritual, physical, emotional, or mental weapons fashioned against us shall prosper. And every alter set up to curse the children of God Almighty will burn with the Holy Fire of God, blessed be the Name of the LORD, by His Name, and the Blood of the Lamb we are more than conquerors in and through Christ Jesus. 

Almighty GOD, praise, honor, and glory is Yours alone. You are the Mighty Warrior who goes before us and protects us from behind. Surround us with Your feathers, and protect us from all evil. Direct our steps in the Way, Truth, and the Life, who is, and was, and is to come, our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ.
