Head in the Clouds

LORD

“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.” Colossians 3:1

I am sitting on a plane heading to Washington to see my grandbabies, and as I am writing this, I am experiencing a tad of anxiety. However, I was so blessed when my sister in Christ texted me at the perfect time to let me know she was already praying for me. Do you have any what that means to someone like me? It was too long after I felt the Peace of Christ come over me.

Having the Word of God in one hand, and on the other, my sister holding my other hand in prayer. It is a good day to praise the LORD every day! As we flew over the Nevada Mountains, the Holy Spirit said, “Trying seeing things from My perspective.” I thought about my life and everything I missed because I was not grounded in Christ but by fear. I intentionally picked a window seat to see the sunrise; however, I’ve never seen anything as beautiful.

Also, as I looked outside my window, I couldn’t help but imagine Jesus saying, “Look, I made this. See how beautiful My creation is?” I was like a little child, awestruck as I experienced my new life in Christ. I also imagined seeing my son standing on the clouds at the sound of the trumpet. Today’s word fit perfectly as I traveled to see my grandbabies.

Heavenly Father,

Gracious God, I am comforted by the knowledge of Your Presence with me and for my sister, who is sensitive to Your call to pray for me. O LORD, You know my heart and the fears of my heart; You do not condemn me; You comfort and reassure me of Your Presence with me. I am so grateful for Your enduring love and faithfulness.
