WORD and Prayer for the New Year

Praise awaits You, O God, in Zion, and the vow shall be performed to You. O You who hear prayer, to You all flesh will come. The Iniquities of our ancestors prevailed against us, but You made atonement for our transgressions; You sent Your only Son to make atonement for every sin; I and my ancestors sinned against You, Father. I am so grateful, LORD, that You made a way. Without You, we can’t make atonement for our sins; it cost You Your Only Son.

Blessed is the man You choose and cause to approach Your heavenly throne through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, Your Son. Because He laid down His life for us, we may dwell in Your courts and be satisfied with the goodness of Your house and holy temple. LORD, by Your wondrous deeds in righteousness, You answer us, O God, our salvation! Those who see will be drawn to Your goodness, and seek You will their whole hearts; praise and Glory to God from the ends of the earth, and of the far-off seas, every tongue will confess, JESUS IS LORD!

You established the mountains by Your strength, and You are clothed with power. You calm the noise of the seas, the waves on earth, and in our hearts. O, LORD, all creation obeys You; all creation acknowledges Your Greatness, except those whom You have given free will and who have been deceived by their flesh and the deceiver. LORD, give them the Spirit of Truth. 

You ordained morning and evening praise; even as we lie on our beds, we lift our hands and give You praise, ALMIGHTY GOD. Your presence is evident on the earth. You created it, and You water it like a gardener. LORD, You are the True Vine; apart from You, I can do nothing. 

As You enrich the earth with water, provide it with grain, and prepare it, so it is with the hearts of men. The fruit of Your labor will praise You, and the abundance of Your fruit in us will overflow, making us a blessing to the nations. To God Be the Glory. You Crown the New Year with Your Goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance. Every hill, large and small, will be covered with grain; even the flocks of the land will praise Your Holy Name! 

I declare Your Promises by faith in Jesus Christ and receive all Your Promises according to the abundance of Your steadfast love, grace, and enduring faithfulness; even the furrows of the rivers of Your blessings will overflow and bless those around us. LORD, I abide in You; keep me hidden with Christ in You, to God be the Glory, in JESUS Mighty Name, amen
