II Timothy 2

Be Strong in Grace

1 You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. 3 You, therefore, must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please Him who enlisted him as a soldier. 5 And also, if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. 6 The hardworking farmer must first partake of the crops. 7 Consider what I say, and may the LORD give you understanding.

Today, LORD, as I ponder on Your steadfast love and faithfulness, guide my thoughts according to Your word and will. As a bride longs for her husband to return home from the battlefield, my heart longs for You. Holy Spirit, nothing is impossible for You; I can do everything through Christ Jesus, who strengthens me. Your grace, O LORD, is more than enough. Bring to remembrance everything that You have taught me in my times of need according to the richness of Your grace, steadfast love, and faithfulness. Provide and protect us as we serve You for the good of others and Your glory. Mighty Warrior, go before us and send our enemies into confusion and scatter them. Cause them to fall into the pits they have devised against us, Your people. As for Your saints who are in chains for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I pray for Your divine intervention: break every physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional chain binding them, set them free, in the Name of JESUS, let Your grace empower us, and let Your Word accomplish what You have intended: that no one should perish but have eternal life. So, LORD, enable us to do Your will for our good, the good of others, and Your glory, in the Mighty Name of YESHUA, AMEN, AMEN.
