“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the LORD, and the power of His might.” (Eph.6:10)
As I contemplate God’s promises during these times, my heart is steadfast. Years of living in doubt and fear are over. The LORD never neglected to deliver what He said He would do. I don’t take credit for anything. The only credit I claim is that by surrendering everything into His care, He remains steadfast and faithful.
I am not saying that I don’t tremble. I do tremble. I have to remind my heart that God is with us. He will never leave us, regardless of what happens. I have to pull out my journals and reread what He had shown me. I journal daily for this reason. Amid trouble, I forget. I am like most children when they are afraid. I look up to our Daddy in heaven, and His Word. Jesus told His disciples to take nothing with them but the staff. The LORD is our Shepherd, His rod and His staff are our guide. His Presence comforts me. Like sheep, He guides us with the Word of God.
Psalms 23: The LORD, the Shepherd of His People

The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me to the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over. 6 Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. In Jesus’ name, amen.
