Noon Prayer — Day’s Journey
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory.”
— 2 Corinthians 3:18
Prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ,
At this high hour of the day, when light stands at its fullest,
we pause to rest our hearts in You — the unsetting Sun of our souls.
You have called us to endurance, not by our might, but through Your mercy.
In our labor, let Your glory rise like a quiet flame within us.
When strength falters, let Your sustaining light guide our steps.
May every act done today — seen or unseen —
become a reflection of Your eternal radiance.
O Lord of all grace,
purify our purpose, renew our courage, and crown our effort with peace.
Let Your glory dwell within us until it spills into the world around us,
gentle and steadfast as Your love.
We walk onward beneath Your shining presence,
trusting that even our weariness can become worship.
Through Christ our Lord,
Amen.
