The Light Has Come
Scripture Anchor: Isaiah 9:2, 6
Father, in the quiet of this morning,
I lift my eyes to You.
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great Light—
Today, I confess that I need that Light again.
Shine into every weary place of my soul.
Let Your Wonderful Counsel guide me,
Your Mighty strength uphold me,
Your Everlasting Love surround me,
and Your Peace reign over me.
Jesus, You are the Gift I awaken to.
You are the reason my hope rises with the dawn.
As I step into this day,
go before me, walk beside me, and dwell within me.
