Quiet Prayer to Begin

Lord Jesus, meet us wherever we are Today, in the quiet before the doors open. Let this prayer be from our hearts to Yours. Make this place, our home, school, employment, mission, service, government, church, cafe, wherever we gather, a refuge, and make hearts clean vessels of Your love. Amen.

Lindsey & Mr. Martinez — Morning Prayer Before Opening The Gathering

Lindsey: Father, thank You for waking us up and giving us breath for today. Thank You for Your mercy that is new every morning. Before we open these doors, we open our hearts to You.

Mr. Martinez: Lord Jesus, be honored in this place. Let The Gathering belong to You—not to our plans, not to our preferences, not to our reputation. You are the Owner. We are Your servants.

Lindsey: We repent for anything in us that is not like You—pride, impatience, fear, or striving. Wash us clean. Purify our motives. Let our service be worship.

Mr. Martinez: Father, as Your Word says, My house will be called a house of prayer.” Let this place be a house of prayer too—where people find peace, not pressure; comfort, not condemnation.

Lindsey: Bless every person You will send today—the hungry, the weary, the lonely, the joyful, the skeptical, and the brokenhearted. Prepare us to love them well. Help us to see people the way You see them.

Mr. Martinez: Guard this place from division, gossip, confusion, and the schemes of the enemy. Establish us in unity. Let truth and love meet here.

Lindsey: Teach us to serve like You served—quietly, kindly, faithfully. Let us be generous without needing recognition, and firm without losing tenderness.

Mr. Martinez: And Lord, where we are weak, be strong. Where we feel overwhelmed, be our peace. Where we lack wisdom, give it freely.

Lindsey: We dedicate our hands to You—every cup poured, every plate prepared, every table cleaned, every word spoken.

Mr. Martinez: Be exalted in every way—in word and deed—from the kitchen to the counter, from the first customer to the last.

Both: Jesus, make this an instrument of Your love and peace. Let Your Word run swiftly and be glorified. We give You today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
