Jesus Loves Me, and My Friends Too

Three children kneel and pray together outdoors at sunset.

Lord Jesus, help little hearts know that You Love their friends very much. Teach us to pray with kindness, hope, and trust in You. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

Jesus Loves My Friend

Sometimes a child may have a friend who does not yet know Jesus.

Maybe your friend has never heard about Him.
Maybe your friend says, “I don’t believe.”
Maybe your friend feels sad, angry, or far away.

But Jesus still loves them.

If you care about your friend, you can pray for them.
You do not have to know all the right words.
You do not have to fix everything.
You can simply bring your friend to Jesus.

Jesus is kind.
Jesus sees your friend.
Jesus knows how to help.
Jesus knows how to reach their heart.

You can be a good friend by loving them, being kind to them, telling the truth, and praying for them.

A smile matters.
A kind word matters.
An invitation to church matters.
A little prayer matters.

Jesus hears little children when they pray.

So if your heart feels sad for a friend, do not lose hope.
Give that friend to Jesus again and again.
He knows how to find people.
He knows how to bring them close.

A little prayer

Dear Jesus,
Please help my friend know that You Love them. Show them Your kindness and bring them close to You. Help me be a loving friend and not give up praying. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

A prayer of repentance

Dear Jesus,
Forgive me for the times I forget to pray, or when I stop hoping. Help my heart be kind, faithful, and full of Love. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

When a child prays for a friend, Jesus listens with Love.
