Be Reconciled to God and Your Past

2Corinthians5:16Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him

Prayer for 2019

2018 was a good year for me; it was filled with Your Grace. I never really knew what Grace meant Lord, nor can I even explain it with my own words. Forgive my failures, doubts, cowardness, and unwillingness to surrender the things that have kept me from You. I forgive myself for these things, so that Regret will not hold me back from receiving Your blessings. I leave my mistakes and failures at the Foot of the Cross so nothing can hinder me as I walk into this New Year. By Your Grace I have been truly saved from my old ways, and made New in Christ Jesus, Your Son. May Your Grace continue into this New Year, and may the Lord give us Faith, Courage, Hope, Boldness, Trust, Mercy and Your Perfect Love that cast out all fears. Lord, give us the Gifts of Your Holy Spirit, the gift of: Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, the Fear of the Lord, Piety, and Knowledge. Be glorified in all things through-out this New Year, and may Your Son be lifted up above all things, amen and amen
