Most people say when they lose a loved one, “If only I would have given them 10 minutes of my time, what would have been different”?
When you say you will not sacrifice your efforts just for 10 minutes, They feel unworthy of that time. You say you miss them when they are gone, but yet if the sacrifice too great an effort, you will not do it. Think about this, if you worked so much just have things that make you a slave to it; is it really worth losing precious moments with loved ones just so that other people admire you and what you have? There is never enough money to buy back “Time”, time is a gift from God, how we use it is up to us.
You miss out on so much because you will not sacrifice the effort to sit in traffic, or take the drive to see your childrens or grandchildren’s accomplishments, or sit for cup of coffee with your mother or father. What I hear you saying is that 10 minutes is not worth your valued time; people will forget what you have done for them, but they will never forget how you made them feel. Honestly, I don’t feel bad for them, I feel bad for you because “Life in itself is worth the sacrifice!” even if it is only for 10 minutes spent’ every 10 minutes are the most valued moments to the person you gave it to.
I don’t want write a long post here because I don’t to use up the time you have to call the loved one who is waiting for your call, or visit because every moment spent is valued by the one who you gave it to, even if it was only 10 minutes!
