The Assurance of God’s Saving Work

May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob defend you; may He send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion. May He remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice. May He grant you according to your heart's desire, and fulfill all your purpose. We will rejoice in your salvation and in the name of our God we will set our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions (Psalm 20:1-5).

Thank You, Abba, for Your blessed assurance through Your holy word, thank You for guiding us daily through Your Holy Bible; without it, we would be wanderers in the dark, like a man without a flashlight stumbling about. Your word is the lamp to our feet. Every day, we know that You are with us, and You hear our prayers; You will answer us with the saving strength of Your right hand. May the Name of the Lord be on our lips in our times of trouble, we will rise and stand upright because You, our King stand with us, and will answer us when we call. We have risen and we stand upright in confidence of Your blessed assurance through Christ, Your Son, amen.
