Priming the Well

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
2 Corinthians 5:18 NIV

I am not a woman with great faith. Daily I need to prime my well and seek the Lord for His Living Water, or my springs will put out bitter water for those around me. We need our brothers and sisters in Christ to intercede in prayers, support, and encouragement because we all face painful situations, even those on the front lines in the ministry of reconciliation through Jesus Christ, who was nailed on a cross and lifted as the ultimate sacrifice for the world’s sins. Now He sits on high at the Father’s right hand as KING OF KINGS, LORD of LORDS. As Paul wrote to some, we may seem insane, and to others, we are of the right mind, Spiritually speaking, but to the glory of God, we are compelled because of His great love for all, even to the point of death. We are not left alone to complete what God has begun in us and through us; He is the author and perfector of our faith. However, together we can pray and fellowship with those suffering for Christ’s sake and refresh one another in any way possible until we reach our heavenly home. My prayer concern is for Day’s Journey, that the Lord will provide financial support to keep the door open for those who cannot afford to pay for subscriptions, such as my brothers and sisters in India, Africa, Ukraine, China, and many other countries who read Day’s Journey for hope and encouragement. They also encourage me when I see them here; I know they are also praying for us.

LORD of heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them, we praise Your Holy Name, not because of what we have here on earth, but because of what we are pressing forward by the Power of Your Holy Spirit, our heavenly dwelling. Thank You, Jesus, for reconciling us to the Father through Your Atonement. Give us strength for today, guide and empower us to complete each task before us to the glory of God. Refresh us with Your Living Waters to the point of pouring out to those in need of hope, love, and encouragement; it is in Your Name, I pray, amen
