Hello Prayer Partners this prayer request was sent to me, and I was asked to share in our community. What an honor that the Lord would use us to unite in prayer for the leadership and students at Dallas Theological Seminary
July 2023 DTS Prayer Partners
July 2023
Dear partners in prayer,
I don’t know where you are but where we are…it is sizzling! Temperatures are climbing in Texas, but we are refreshed by the presence of the Lord! I hope you are doing well.
You are receiving this communication on the very first day of the new fiscal year. That means we have now finished our year-end campaign for fiscal year 2022-2023! Thank you for your prayers asking the Lord to provide. As we left for home yesterday, we were giving the Lord great praise because HE again has met the needs of the Seminary and we are “in the black” for our annual fund!
He has also been so gracious to provide for several capital projects on campus and I am thrilled to report we are sailing into the new year with wind in our sails. I am always amazed by the Lord in how He answers our prayers in new and creative ways year after year. We work doing all we can and then He works in the hearts of our generous donors to do more than we can ever ask or imagine. Oh, how grateful we all are!
Summer School
We still have a great group of students on campus and around the world working to complete the summer semester. Would you pray for them as they finish up the heavy lifting in their classes and write their final papers? The semester ends on August 25.
New Students
As our summer students complete their classes, new students are making their way to all our campuses getting ready to begin the fall semester on August 28. Please pray for their travel, safety, and provision for all their needs in this transition. Enrollment looks strong!
