When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Restore our fortunes, Lord, like streams in the Negev. Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.

Lord of Hosts, we praise Your Name through the watches of the night before all the nations, lift us up and restore our fortunes. We worship You and give thanks for what You have done; You do great things for Your name’s sake. Our hopes and dreams are in Your tender mercies. Keep an eye on us, our children, and their offspring as we rest in Your care. Thank You for the gift of sleep to those You love. Don’t permit our enemies to harm us physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Bring healing and restoration, and assign Your mighty angels as watchmen over our homes and all within them. In Jesus’ Name, amen, and amen.
