And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”

When the KING came into the world, He was born in a manger, a barn. An angel proclaimed the news of His birth to shepherds as they watched over their flock. Are you alone and feeling forgotten? Me too. Sometimes, I have to force myself to get out of my head. I know myself; I now know the signs that lead down the rabbit hole. When Jesus was born, the world was dark and without hope; shepherds lived a solitary life because they were focused on their flock’s safety. I know I am not the only one with losses and struggles, but we can choose to follow the Light as the shepherds, the wise men, and those who saw the Light come into the world. And when the Light came into the world, they fell on their knees and worshipped Him. May the Light of God’s Presence burst forth into darkened hearts, and every mouth proclaim the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, Emanuel, Prince of Peace, Almighty God. May hearts be filled with the joy of the LORD and the merriment of their salvation. Praise the LORD, amen
