I Timothy 6:12 NKJV
[12] Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
As I stood gazing at Mt. Rainier, I wondered if this was a glimpse of the heavenly realms. I thought about the barriers that had to be turned upside down for me to even be standing here. The fears that kept me in bondage for most of my lifetime are now cast down because of the Mighty Name of Jesus! Oh, how ignorant I was to limit the power of God to my limited beliefs. I was blind, but now I see the magnitude of God’s goodness.
Heavenly Father, the works of Your Hands are glorious and wonderful; I praise Your name in holy adoration and thank You for Your goodness and loving-kindness toward Your beloved. I am humbled that You would even consider me in Your thoughts and want to commune with someone like me after all I have done. Yet, You are merciful and compassionate; Your gaze is through the eyes of love. Thank You for sending Your Son to remove all my sins with His unblemished life and His precious blood and give me a new life through Him.
