The Promise

“38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the LORD our GOD will call” (Acts 2:38-39).

Kiran, a ray of light, a young warrior of GOD

As Elizabeth visited with her daughter and her family, she and her granddaughter, Kiran (ray of light warrior), discussed her future. Kiran was no longer that bouncy little baby girl Elizabeth once held in her arms. Now, she was growing into the warrior the LORD saved from her birth; she was stillborn, but God gave her breath after Elizabeth prayed for the LORD to save her grandchild; her name also means “Fighter.” Time has gone by too quickly for Elizabeth, and now they are having the dreaded discussion about her future. It won’t be long until Kiran moves out from under her parent’s wings, and Elizabeth is concerned about her choices. Kiran had a lot of anger in her heart, and as her grandmother listened, she remembered her youth and her rebellion against the LORD. However, in her mind, she had no hope for heaven because of her many sins. But GOD, by His great mercy, sent His only Son to save the world by sacrificing Himself for the remission of our sins. Elizebeth turns to GOD, through JESUS, and prays:

JESUS, I am beginning to understand that when we are aligned with the will of GOD, as You spoke to the people of Israel, “I don’t do My will, but the Father does His will through Me.” I see now that our hearts grieve the same as His when man rejects Your sacrifice for our sins; it was costly, and no man could save the soul of another. You did what is impossible and made way for everyone to be saved through You, JESUS CHRIST, His Son. Thank you for the hope we now have in You!

When I was visiting and staying with my daughter and her family, she told me I had a nightmare the night before. She said I was crying and that I screamed, “NO!” LORD, I’ve learned that when GOD gives dreams, we don’t forget them; we should always journal them like the scribes because whatever GOD shows us through dreams will come to fruition. However, I have no recollection of the dream I had the night before. Subconsciously and consciously, I pray daily for the salvation of my loved ones, even those whom I will never meet in this lifetime on earth. So, I assume the dream must have been the enemy accusing my beloved before GOD and taunting me of our sins since the beginning. 

Moreover, although I don’t understand Your ways, I trust You, and as GOD’s word today, my heart rejoices because, like Him, I desire that all my children and their offspring be saved and receive the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT. So as I write this promise, I declare in the Name above all Names, JESUS CHRIST, the fruition of GOD’s Holy Word upon repentance, we and our children near and far will be saved, be baptized, and receive the Gift of the HOLY SPIRIT, Praise, and glory to GOD ALMIGHTY. 

Heavenly Father, Maker of all things in heaven, earth, the sea, and everything in them, I praise Your Holy Name. No one on earth is worthy of such honor, glory, and blessings as the LAMB OF GOD, who takes away the sins of the world, and the flesh. You are our Great Shepherd, lead us and our loved ones away from the temptations of the evil one, worldly desires, and the lust of our flesh, and deliver us from all our sins; past, present, and future known and unknown. LORD, guard our hearts with the seal of the HOLY SPIRIT. Commander and Chief of the LORD’s Army, surround us with Your heavenly hosts, and protect us from the fiery darts of the evil one; I declare that no physical, spiritual, emotional, or mental weapons form against shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment shall be condemned. LORD, every trap set up before us, I declare malfunctioned and nullified in the Mighty Name of JESUS.

When Elizabeth finished her prayer, she saw a vision of her loved one running toward her and morphing into the likeness of wild horses free like on heavenly pastures on earth, and she held her heart and rejoiced in GOD,
