Transforming Pain into Praise: A Journey of Faith

19 “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. 20 The beasts of the field will honor Me,.The jackals and the ostriches, because I give water in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen. 21 these people I have formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise.” (Isaiah 43:19-20).

Your mercies are new every morning, my LORD, Savior, and Redeemer. Your word says, “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.” I remember everything You have done that brought me this far, and I praise You. Your goodness keeps me moving ahead. I release into Your care the things that held me back. I release the wounds of betrayal from those I trusted and believed cared about me. LORD, I don’t want to continue licking my wounds. Forgive me, Father, forgive me for the scars I created, and I pray for healing and restoration. Pull the weeds of bitterness. Break down barriers of resentment and unforgiveness—plant beauty from the ashes of destruction and despair. Let bouquets of Your Perfect Love spring up in the wilderness of our hearts. Surround us with the beauty of Your goodness. Let laughter heal our weary souls. Like rivers in the desert, give us strength for the day. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, amen.
