Finding Peace Through Prayer: Trusting in God
“Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
There are some things in life we all struggle with. Because I’ve been used and abused, I have trust issues and scars. I no longer see this as a negative connotation. Instead, I framed it as a way to seek God before acting. I also share my testimony of His Mighty deeds in my life. For instance, there were a few times someone pursued me. I remembered Joshua seeing a Mighty Warrior standing by the river. Joshua asked this Mighty Man, “Are You for us or against us?” God is for us, and not against us. Today, look up and see the goodness of God. Know what the enemy meant for harm, God is with us, not against us! He is for our good and His glory.
