Morning Prayer — Strengthened for the Journey

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” — Deuteronomy 31 : 6

Good morning, Lord.
Thank You for the promise that begins this day — that You go before me, walk beside me, and dwell within me.
Because You are with me, I need not fear what lies ahead.

As the sun rises, fill me with Your courage.
Where I am hesitant, make me bold.
Where I am weary, renew my strength.
Where I feel alone, remind me that You are near.

Help me to carry Your peace into every place my feet touch today.
Let my words bring encouragement, my actions reflect love, and my heart remain steady in Your presence.

Lord, teach me to move with faith, not fear —
to trust that You are already working on the details I cannot yet see.
When challenges come, whisper again, “Do not be afraid, for I am with you.”

I place this day in Your hands —
my plans, my thoughts, my steps, and my spirit.
Lead me, Lord, as You led Moses and Joshua: with courage, humility, and unwavering trust.

I rise today strengthened by Your promise and covered by Your grace.
