Let’s begin the day with stillness and gratitude before the Lord.

Morning Prayer

1 Corinthians 5:7 & Romans 5

“For Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us.” — 1 Corinthians 5:7
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” — Romans 5:1

Heavenly Father,
we awaken to grace today—
to the finished work of the Cross and the peace that flows from it.

Thank You for the Lamb who was slain,
whose blood speaks mercy over our lives.
Because of Jesus, we stand in the light of Your favor,
washed clean, loved wholly, and made new.

Lord, let our hearts not rush past this wonder.
Remind us that peace is not earned;
it is the gift of a God who loves without measure.
Help us to walk in that peace today—
to extend it, to live it, to carry it into every conversation and choice.

Where there is unrest, let us sow reconciliation.
Where there is striving, let us rest in Your sufficiency.
And where there is fear, let faith rise and whisper, “It is finished.”

Bless our loved ones this morning, Lord.
Surround them with Your covering grace.
May the power of the Cross shield their hearts
and the hope of resurrection guide their steps.

We begin this day under the banner of Your love,
redeemed and restored through Christ Jesus,
our Peace, our Passover, our King.

Amen.
Soli Deo Gloria.

Praise God — let’s rest in this quiet Sacred Pause before the day unfolds.

Sacred Pause

The Peace of the Lamb

“For Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us.” — 1 Corinthians 5:7
“We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” — Romans 5:1

Pause here.
Breathe in the mercy of morning.
The cross still stands, and grace still speaks your name.

You do not begin this day trying to earn peace —
you awaken already wrapped in it.
Because of Jesus, your heart is reconciled to God.
The distance is gone. The veil is torn.

Let that truth settle deep into the quiet places within you:
You are loved. You are forgiven. You are free.

The same love that redeemed you
is the love that steadies you for this day.
You may face storms,
but you carry within you the calm of the One who silences them.

So walk gently.
Let peace be your pace and grace your breath.
And wherever your feet go,
may the fragrance of redemption follow.

Soli Deo Gloria.
