Morning Prayer

LORD, I come before You in stillness. Quiet every anxious thought and settle every restless place within me. Turn my heart toward Your kingdom, and let my soul awaken to Your goodness. Before this day asks anything of me, let me first seek You.

Father, Today I seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness.
Before the needs of the day, before the rush of responsibilities, before the voices of worry and distraction, I turn my heart toward You.
Be first in my thoughts, first in my desires, and first in my response to all that this day may bring.

Let my heart rejoice and be glad in You.
Fill this day with the richness of Your grace, the tenderness of Your steadfast Love, and the strength of Your faithfulness.
Provide for me according to Your mercy.
Meet me in the ordinary places and in the hidden needs no one else can see.
Be my daily bread, my wisdom, my peace, and my covering.

Lead me beside still waters this morning.
Calm the places in me that feel unsettled.
Restore the parts of my soul made weary by grief, pressure, or long waiting.
Let me begin this day from a place of peace and not striving, from trust and not fear, from remembrance and not lack.

LORD, You prepare a table before me, even in the presence of my enemies.
What a holy mercy that You not only protect me, but welcome me.
You invite me to fellowship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
You call me to sit in Your presence, to receive Your Love, and to live from the abundance of belonging to You.

Teach me to welcome others as You have welcomed me.
Where my heart is tempted toward fear or self-protection, sow mercy.
Where old wounds make me guarded, pour in Your healing.
Give me grace to walk in truth and Love together, in wisdom and compassion together, and in discernment without hardness.

Father, I repent this morning.
Forgive me for the times I have sought my own kingdom before Yours.
Forgive me for anxious striving, for fear of not having enough, and for forgetting that You are my Shepherd.
Forgive me for every place where resentment, control, or self-reliance has crowded out trust.
Wash me clean, and renew a right Spirit within me.

Let Your goodness and mercy follow me Today in ways seen and unseen.
Let joy rise in my heart.
Let peace steady my steps.
Let Your presence be the table where I am nourished, strengthened, and kept.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Noon Reflection

Today

By midday, the heart can begin to drift.
The pressures of the day can make us feel responsible for everything, and the soul can forget what it knew in the quiet of the morning: the LORD is our Shepherd.

To seek first the kingdom of God is to remember that our lives are safest when they are centered in Him.
It is not a denial of daily needs; it is trust that the Father knows them before we ask.
It is choosing to believe that righteousness, peace, and fellowship with God matter more than worry, appearances, or striving.

Psalm 23 reminds us that the Shepherd leads us not only through open fields and still waters.
He also prepares a table in the presence of enemies.
That means His peace is not dependent on perfect surroundings.
His goodness is not canceled by opposition.
His welcome is not withdrawn because difficulty is nearby.

There is a deep mercy in this.
The LORD does not ask us to pretend enemies do not exist, or that hardship is unreal.
He invites us to sit with Him in the middle of it, to receive nourishment, peace, and courage in His presence.

And as He welcomes us, He teaches us how to welcome others.
Not by ignoring truth, and not by excusing harm, but by reflecting the grace we ourselves have received.

Midday Prayer

LORD, call my heart back to You in this hour.
Where I have become hurried, slow me down.
Where I have begun striving, teach me to rest again in Your care.
Where fear of lack has crept in, remind me that You are my Shepherd and I shall not want.

Lead me beside still waters in the middle of this day.
Restore my soul where it feels drained.
Prepare my heart to sit at Your table in peace, even if there is tension around me.
Let Your presence be greater than my pressures, and Your goodness more real than my worries.

Forgive me for the ways I try to build my own kingdom through control, anxiety, or self-protection.
Teach me to seek Yours first.
And as You welcome me, teach me how to walk in mercy toward others with wisdom, truth, and grace.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Evening Prayer

Today

LORD, as this day comes to a close, I return to You with thanksgiving.
You have been my Shepherd through every hour.
You have led me, sustained me, corrected me, and kept me.
In moments of peace and in moments of strain, Your goodness has remained near.

Thank You for every provision of this day.
Thank You for the things I noticed and the mercies I almost missed.
Thank You for every quiet strengthening, every unseen protection, every answered need, and every reminder that I do not walk alone.

Surely Your goodness and Love have followed me Today.
Even where I felt uncertain, You were faithful.
Even where the road felt narrow, You were present.
Even where enemies, tensions, or sorrows tried to steal peace, You prepared a table and invited me to sit with You.

Tonight, I lay down every burden I carried.
I release every fear about tomorrow.
I surrender every unfinished task, every unanswered question, and every lingering concern into Your hands.
Lead me again beside still waters and let my soul rest in You.

Father, I repent this evening.
Forgive me for every way I sought my own kingdom more than Yours Today.
Forgive me for impatience, fear, striving, or guardedness.
Forgive me for every place where I forgot Your goodness and let worry speak louder than faith.
Cleanse my heart, quiet my mind, and restore peace within me.

Teach me to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, not only one day in glory, but even now in the daily fellowship of Your presence.
Let my home be in You.
Let my heart remain seated at Your table.
Let me sleep under the covering of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

And as I rest tonight, let joy remain.
Let gratitude remain.
Let trust remain.
For surely Your goodness and mercy will follow me again tomorrow.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
