I enjoy writing, drawing, photography, and gardening. I like to do things on a whim, and laughter is my way of breaking a cold, mean spirit, so the jokes are almost daily, especially in hard times. I am more of a student than a teacher; we can learn much from others with a teachable spirit. I believe in Jesus Christ, and I know that without Him, I could not get through the moments of each day. I have lived with depression most of my life. That is my Mahle, which means (Weakness). Through Day's Journey, Jesus helps me get through each day by talking to me, loving me, and by His encouraging Word. Time spent with Him enables me to press on and see things from His Perspective and the perspective of others; I believe we can find nuggets of wisdom if we are willing to learn and listen to others' cultures and life experiences. We can learn from the mouths of babes, nature, and animals; even the ant is a great teacher if we are willing to walk in our Day's Journey with an open mind and heart with our Great Teacher, Jesus Christ, who all things were made, and holds all things together for our good.
