Lord Jesus, fill young hearts and little hearts with Your Holy Spirit. Teach us to love You, trust You, and speak of You with courage and kindness. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

Filled with Boldness
In Acts 4, Peter spoke boldly about Jesus after being filled with the Holy Spirit. This is the same Peter who once struggled with fear. What changed? He had been with Jesus, and the Holy Spirit gave him courage.
That is such good news for us.
Boldness does not mean being loud, rude, or trying to prove we are right. God’s kind of boldness is different. It is the courage to stand for truth with Love. It is the strength to speak about Jesus without being ashamed. It is the quiet power to keep trusting God even when others do not understand.
Young people need that kind of boldness Today.
There may be times when you feel nervous about talking about your faith. Maybe you worry about what others will think. Maybe you feel too small, too quiet, or not ready enough. But Acts 4 reminds us that boldness does not come from us trying harder. It comes from the Holy Spirit.
God can fill your heart with courage.
God can help you speak with kindness.
God can use your life to point others to Jesus.
You do not have to be the loudest person in the room to be bold. Sometimes boldness looks like praying for a friend. Sometimes it looks like speaking the truth gently. Sometimes it looks like staying faithful when others walk away. Boldness is not about attention. It is about obedience.
So ask the Lord to fill you again. Let Love shape your courage, your words be guided by truth, and your life become a witness that Jesus is alive.
Sacred Pause
Take a quiet moment and ask:
Lord, where do I need boldness Today?
Is there a place where fear has kept me silent?
How can I speak of You with both courage and Love?
A prayer for youth
Lord Jesus,
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit like You filled Peter. Give me the courage to speak of You with Love and truth. Help me not to be ashamed of my faith, but to walk with kindness, wisdom, and boldness. Use my life to show others that You are alive. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
True boldness is not being fearless on your own; it is being filled with the Holy Spirit.
