Children’s Day’s Journey

God Is Great and Helps Me

Morning, Noon, and Evening

Anchored on Psalm 145: Lord Jesus, thank You that Your greatness is bigger than every fearful thought. Help little hearts remember Your goodness and trust Your truth. Forgive us for the times we listen to discouragement more than to You. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

Morning Prayer

Dear Jesus,
Thank you for this new day. You are great and good. Help me remember Your Love when I feel sad, scared, or discouraged. Psalm 145 says You are great and worthy of praise. Please fill my heart with Your peace and help me think about what is true.

In Jesus’ Name, amen.

Noon Reflection

Sometimes children have sad or heavy thoughts.

They may think:

Nobody likes me.
Nothing will get better.
I cannot do this.
I will always feel bad.

But not every thought is true.

Psalm 145 reminds us that God is great. God is kind. God does wonderful things. When sad thoughts come, we can stop and remember:

God loves me.
God sees me.
God helps me.
God is with me.

When we remember God’s goodness, our hearts can grow strong again.

Evening Prayer of Repentance and Renewal

Dear Jesus,
Forgive me for the times I believed sad thoughts more than Your truth. Forgive me for forgetting that You are with me. Please wash away fear, discouragement, and every unkind thought that tried to stay in my heart Today.

Help me remember Your wonderful works. Make my heart peaceful as I rest tonight. Teach me to trust that You are great, good, and always near.

In Jesus’ Name, amen.

God is great, and His Love is bigger than every heavy thought.
