Jesus Is the Gardener
In the Bible, some people were arguing, saying, “I follow Paul,” while others said, “I follow Apollos.” Paul told them they were forgetting something very important:
People are only helpers.
Jesus is the One we follow.
Paul and Apollos both served God, but God is the One who makes things grow.
That means we do not need to argue about who is the best, who is the biggest, or who gets the most attention. We belong to God.
Sometimes children want to be first, noticed, or praised. But God wants to teach us something better. He wants us to Love Him, help others, and remember that all good things come from Him.
Jesus is our foundation.
That means He is the strong base we stand on.
We build our lives on Him when we trust Him, obey Him, and Love others.
It is good to help.
It is good to serve.
It is good to use our gifts.
But all praise belongs to God.
A Little Pause
Ask your heart:
Am I trying to be the most important?
Or am I helping point others to Jesus?
A Little Prayer
Dear Jesus,
Thank you for loving me. Forgive me for the times I want attention, praise, or to be first. Help me remember that You are the foundation and that all good things come from You. Teach me to be kind, humble, and faithful. Help me build my life on You.
In Jesus’ Name, amen.
Jesus is the strong foundation for every little heart.
