Let us begin with a quiet prayer.
Lord Jesus, forgive us for caring more about how we look to people than how our hearts look before You. Teach us to walk by faith, not by sight, and help us live boldly for You. Amen.
Out of My Mind for Christ
Paul teaches in 2 Corinthians 5 that we live by faith, not by sight. That means we do not build our lives only on what we can see, feel, touch, or prove in the moment. We trust God, even when the world does not understand.
Paul knew this life was temporary. He wanted to be with the Lord, but he also knew that while we are here, our lives matter. One day, we will all stand before Christ, and He will judge what we did while living in this body, whether good or bad.
That is serious.
Paul also knew that outward appearances can fool people. Someone may look successful, popular, smart, or important, but God sees deeper than that. He sees the heart.
Paul had once trusted in his own righteousness under the Law. But after meeting Jesus, he understood that only Christ could make him truly righteous before God.
That is why Paul says, “If we are out of our mind, as some say, it is for God.”
Some people may think you are weird for following Jesus. They may not understand why you choose purity, forgiveness, humility, prayer, kindness, or obedience. They may think you are “too serious” about God.

But it is better to be considered out of your mind for Christ than to be completely accepted by a world walking away from Him.
Now we are ambassadors for Christ. That means our lives represent Him. You may be a student, athlete, artist, helper, brother, sister, friend, or quiet person in the background—but if you belong to Jesus, God can make His appeal through you.
You do not need a platform to represent Christ.
You need a surrendered heart.
Jesus took our sin so we could receive His righteousness. That is the message we carry:
Be reconciled to God. Come back to Him. Jesus made the way.
Think About It
Am I more concerned with how people see me, or how God sees my heart?
Am I willing to be misunderstood for following Jesus?
How can I represent Christ Today?
Prayer of Repentance
Lord Jesus, forgive me for the times I have cared more about fitting in than following You. Forgive me for trusting in appearances, popularity, or my own goodness instead of Your righteousness. Help me live by faith and not by sight. Make me a faithful ambassador for You, even when others do not understand. Amen.
