To all Veterans,

Thank you.

Thank you for giving of yourself so that I may live in a country where I have the freedom to choose the leaders I want to lead.

Thank you for defending my right to vote, my right to worship, my right to speak, and my right to live with hope for tomorrow.

Thank you for standing in places many of us will never see, carrying burdens many of us will never fully understand, and fighting for what is right, true, and just.

When I see a Veteran, I am reminded that freedom is not free. It has been guarded by courage, sacrifice, discipline, Love of country, and the willingness to lay down one’s life for others.

Jesus said, “Greater Love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

To our Veterans, you have shown a kind of Love that deserves honor, respect, and remembrance.

Thank you for helping me feel safe.
Thank you for serving when it cost you.
Thank you for protecting freedoms that others may take for granted.
Thank you for enduring what many could not endure.
Thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and your faithfulness.

No one deserves greater respect than those who have served, sacrificed, and stood watch for the good of others.

May you never feel forgotten.
May your service never be dismissed.
May your sacrifices never be treated lightly.
May your courage be remembered with honor.

From my heart, thank you.

May God bless our Veterans, strengthen their families, heal hidden wounds, comfort grieving hearts, and surround each one with honor, care, and peace.

With deep respect and gratitude,
Thank you for your service.

Prayer for Our Veterans

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the men and women who have served our country with courage and sacrifice. Thank You for their willingness to protect freedom, defend what is right, and stand in dangerous places for the sake of others.

Lord, forgive us for the times we have taken freedom for granted or forgotten the cost carried by those who served.

Please bless our Veterans. Strengthen them, comfort them, and bring healing to every wound, seen and unseen. Watch over their families. Provide for their needs. Surround them with honor, friendship, support, and peace.

Let them know they are remembered, respected, and deeply appreciated.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
