Cultivate a Heart of Gratitude
Psalms 100:4- “Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His Name. 5 For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.”
As I think on this Word, I can’t help but think that a narcissist was needed to break my hard heart and bring me to naught. This happened because of my pride in self-sufficiency. LORD, Your hand was outstretched to me since my youth, even when I was born and abandoned. While others cursed me, You, Heavenly Father, comforted me and soothed the wounds caused by my adversaries. Thank You, ABBA!
How can I praise You for the Goodness You bestow on me daily, even when asleep? Your Goodness sustains me and watches over me like a shield. You give the gift of sleep to those You love. LORD, let Your Perfect Love cast out all my fears, and don’t let the terrors of the night move me. I rest in the knowledge that Your mercy is everlasting. You watch over my loved ones; Your truth endures to all generations.
You are GOD, our Creator. You lovingly sown me in my mother’s womb. You are the creator of the Heavens, Earth, and everything in them. We are fearfully and wonderfully made to do Your good works. Bless the work of our hands and the fruit of our lips. Let us serve You with gladness of heart, sowing seeds of righteousness. Let the joy of the LORD be our strength in everything we do; to GOD be the glory, to GOD be our praise, in JESUS’ Mighty Name, we lift our praise, forever, amen
