Morning Prayer — In the Stillness of Dawn
“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22–23
Good morning, Lord.
As the sun rises, so does my heart in praise.
Thank You for the gift of another day — a new beginning shaped by Your mercy and held by Your grace.
Let Your peace steady my thoughts and Your Spirit guide my steps.
Where I am weak, be my strength.
Where I am hurried, slow my pace.
Where I am uncertain, whisper Your wisdom into the silence.
May everything I do today reflect Your heart —
every word gentle, every act done in love,
every decision rooted in truth.
Help me to notice Your beauty in simple things —
in laughter, in kindness, in quiet moments of reflection.
And when challenges come, remind me that I do not walk alone.
Lord, let Your joy be my song,
Your presence my purpose,
and Your will my way.
In Jesus’ holy and faithful name,
Amen.
