A Sacred Pause at the Table of Grace
In the middle of the day, Lord,
when my thoughts grow weary, and my heart feels pulled in many directions,
I pause—
not to gather strength from myself,
but to draw nourishment from You.
You said, “Come, eat what is good.”
You said, “Take, eat; this is My Body given for you.”
You said, “Do this in remembrance of Me.”
So here, in this quiet moment,
I remember:
You are the Bread who entered the world through a manger
and offered Yourself through the Cross.
You invite me now—not to strive, but to receive.
Feed me, Lord,
with wisdom, with patience, with grace overflowing.
Let my heart stay tender,
my Spirit teachable,
my life aligned with Your Love.
Amen.
